Urban Air Pollution and Citizen Science: The Case of MI-TRAP

MI-TRAP Presents Living Lab Insights at EGU 2025

We are pleased to announce that the MI-TRAP project will be featured at the upcoming EGU General Assembly 2025 in Session AS3.30, dedicated to air quality and atmospheric science. In an oral presentation titled “Advancing Collaborative Solutions to Transport-Related Air Pollution: Insights from the MI-TRAP Project”, Giorgos Chatzinakos will share key takeaways from the project’s first International Living Lab workshop, which took place in Berlin.

The talk will highlight the importance of stakeholder engagement in developing actionable, locally relevant strategies to mitigate air pollution caused by urban transport. As part of MI-TRAP’s commitment to co-creation, the Living Lab approach brings together policymakers, researchers, and citizens to collaboratively explore solutions tailored to specific city needs.

Join us in Room D1 to learn more about how MI-TRAP is translating dialogue into impact across Europe’s cities.
