10 Dec Democritus University Hosts Open Lesson on Urban Air Pollution and Citizen Science
On December 13, 2024, the Democritus University of Thrace will host an engaging open lesson titled “Urban Air Pollution and Citizen Science: The MI-TRAP Example.” The event will take place from 14:00 to 16:30 at the university’s Grand Auditorium and is conducted as part of the Urban Ecology course led by Dr. George Chatzinakos.
This session will highlight the pressing issue of urban air pollution and showcase how the MI-TRAP project utilizes citizen science to address environmental challenges in cities. Participants will gain insights into innovative approaches that empower communities to contribute to impactful research and policy development for sustainable urban living.
