Resilient Futures is an international e-Community of Practice (e-CoP) powered by ENRICH GLOBAL under the Thriving Cities and Resilient Communities Thematic Group. Chaired by Prof. Giannis Adamos (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Resilient Futures brings together a diverse and growing network of innovators, researchers, policymakers, community leaders, practitioners, and young people who share a common goal: to collaboratively shape the cities of tomorrow. By joining this initiative, MI-TRAP strengthens its commitment to participatory, inclusive, and evidence-based approaches to addressing urban challenges.
Net4Cities
Net4Cities is a project focused on addressing the environmental and health impacts of transport emissions in European cities, particularly air and noise pollution. By developing real-time monitoring networks across 11 cities, including transportation hubs like airports and ports, the project aims to support the creation of Zero Pollution Action Plans aligned with the EU Green Deal. Through a collaborative, transdisciplinary approach, Net4Cities engages with local stakeholders to generate new knowledge, ensuring the relevance and transferability of its results. The project will provide tailored, evidence-based solutions for managing transport-related emissions, including dynamic traffic management and nature-based strategies, and offer a web-based interface for real-time monitoring and policy decision support.
EASVOLEE
The EU-funded EASVOLEE project will bring together leading European researchers and state-of-the-art observational and modelling facilities to measure the formation of secondary aerosols produced in the atmosphere by the oxidation of the emissions of the engines of different types of transport. The measurements will be carried out under real operating conditions. The data collection will improve knowledge of vehicle exhaust emissions, including low-, semi- and intermediate-volatility compounds, as well as the effects of these emissions on health and air quality. Project results will support future legislation on vehicles and their emissions.
